LOCATION
The Kuhio Village building offers easy access to Honolulu’s most upscale offerings, including the newly built International Market Place and Duke’s Lane. Take a short walk to the restaurant- and boutique-filled Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center on Kalakaua Ave., then a little further to the soft-sanded beaches of Waikiki, where you can enjoy sunbathing, surfing, paddle boarding, and more! Other nearby attractions include Diamond Head State Monument, Waikiki Aquarium, Honolulu Zoo, the Hawaii Convention Center, Ala Moana Beach Park, and Ala Moana Center.

This unit is not part of the hotel pool. This property is independently owned and managed and does not offer/include daily cleanings or linen services.

    Property condition:

    a guest from Honolulu, HI does not recommend this vacation rental.

    I would not recommend this rental, and don’t like leaving bad reviews, but would rate this VBRO a 5 out of 10.
    It is quite small, really no space to work (desk/table).
    Floor is cheapest plastic-like flooring, bed average at best.
    Day 1 toilet wasn’t flushing more than once every 2 hours, tank not refilling due to rust and other debris in waterline, and a too-short cylindrical bob in tank.
    Maintenance service had a plumber come out the next day, so pretty prompt, to replace both the line and cylinder in tank.
    The A/C worked well, as did TV.
    No sharp knife in utensil drawer that would’ve helped w minor cooking.
    Freezer needs defrosted.
    No soap, just shampoo/conditioner in shower
    Towels and sheets were clean, but towels 50% poly, which I don’t like.
    Smelly neighbor on the other side of bathroom wall could sometimes be discerned when stepping out on lanai.
    Tons of homeless around, but that’s the case with all of Waikīkī, and why I am moving from after 17 years.
    If you’re young, want something cheap, will be out about town or at the beach mostly, this could work for you.
    Otherwise, it was worth it to me to pay a little more for a different VRBO the following week.
